District. The combination of its location, high ceilings, tall red
booths, and candle light gives it an intriguing smoky
sophistication. It is considered one of the most unique little
bar/restaurants in Barcelona, often being photographed by
magazines from across the globe.
Rubí opens earlier than most restaurants in Barcelona
(7:30pm-12:00pm). If you have been out walking around
the city all day and fancy something tasty with a nice
bottle of wine in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly
multilingual staff, you can't find a better spot. Also, Rubí
now offers a fabulous 3 Course Set Menu which include
cava or wine. The price is €25pp. For the later diner,
reservations are recommended and all orders are a la carte.

Rubí's menu is an eclectic mix of fusion dishes
from around the world created by our chef,
Sandrine Benhamou. Most of our dishes are
offered in appetizer size or as a main course to
encourage sharing of plates. We incorporate
the freshest produce from local markets, as
well as make our own homemade breads &
desserts.
After 11:30pm, Rubí kicks up a gear into what
regulars and visitors alike call the most
happening little club in town. Rubí offers a
great wine, champagne & cocktail list and
our international staff -- from Ireland,
San Francisco, Barcelona, & South America --
are just as much fun and relaxed as the
clientele. The music ranges from soul and funk
to Latin American beats.
